Let's eat and drink together

We would love to invite you to come and eat and drink with us and there are loads of opportunities over the summer months.  

• Tea and Cakes on Sat 1 + Sun 2 July from 2.00 – 5.00pm at 2 Canal Walk and a chance to visit Hugh and Lois Pihlen’s beautiful waterside garden. 
• Bacon Butties on Thursday 6 July as a break in the middle of our work party  working alongside the Canal and River trust to improve the towpath. 
• Pub Lunch on Saturday 15 July in the middle of our visit to local churches. Starting from the town hall at 10.00am. 
• Wine and Nibbles on Saturday 15 July in the interval of the Hungerford town Band concert starting 7.30pm in St Lawrences church. 
• Mike’s Birthday BBQ Saturday 23 July 12.00 – 2.00pm at the Vicarage.
• St Lawrence’s Day BBQ Sunday 13 August 12.00 – 2.00pm St Lawrence’s church. 
• Eating and drinking together is a great way to make new friends and to get to know each other better. We don’t really need an excuse but Iove to say we are just doing what Jesus told us to do when he said “eat and drink what they set before you” (Luke 10.7)
