St Lawrences church is Hungerford Parish Church, which means we are here for ALL of the people of Hungerford. What is more I am the Vicar for Hungerford and Denford so I am also here for everyone in Hungerford. There are lots of ways in which we serve the whole community:-
It may be that you would like your baby baptised. We offer baptisms at the 10.00 on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays or at 12.00 every Sunday.
It may be you would like to get married in church and if you live in Hungerford then we would love to conduct your wedding.
Sadly, it may be that a family member has passed away and we are here to conduct funeral services for you either in church or at the crematorium.
We are also here for all of the children of Hungerford, from
- BabySong for the under 1’s through on Mondays at 9.30am
- Toddlers on Tuesdays from 9.00am and
- Sunday School on a Sunday at 10.00am for primary age children and
- Youth group on Sunday at 7.00pm for secondary age children
We also love to welcome the older and wiser to
- Tuesday communion at 2.00pm followed by
- More Tea Vicar at 2.30pm and
- Coffee Corner on Thursday from 10.00am
There really is something for everyone and everyone is welcome.
There is no need for anyone in Hungerford to feel lonely.
